After staying at home and not stepping out of my neighbourhood, I finally went out this morning, to renew my passport. I actually went to take the form to renew my passport a few weeks ago, but i GOT the wrong forms because of the security guards outside the British High Commission, haiz... That time they were so rude to us and just gave me three forms without looking @ the passports... Haiz... Anyway, sis today also skipped school to do her passport. I actually tot that it's gonna be very fast to just hand up the forms, but it took us more than 1 hrs to get everything done. Sian. Firstly, when we found out that the forms are wrong, my dad filled in another 3 forms again. Then, the lady that attented to use told my dad that the photos that he handed to her was much younger than the he looks now, sian...SO~~ my dad went out to tanglin mall just across the road to take instant photos, luckily i took mine yesterday and not use the old one:P My sis used her pri5 pic and the lady accepted...strange. Things are not over by then.. After we hand in the forms, the lady asked us to pay @ another counter, and....... we realised that it costed my dad S$475 for 3 passport!!! AND...my dad did nt have so much $$ on hand, then went all the way back to tanglin mall AGAIN to withdraw $$, so ke lian.. Can you imagine such a BIG British High Commission and they dun have nets svs???? And mostly importantly, juz 3 simple booklets with a few color pgs costed my dad more than $400?? Wat a day...
